Polyram Receives Rights to Use Eastman Proprietary Technology
on Maleated Polypropylene

Moshav Ram-On, Israel - January 10, 2009 - Polyram, Israel's leading manufacturer of engineering thermoplastic compounds, announced it has signed a licensing agreement with Eastman Chemical Company (NYSE: EMN) of Kingsport, Tennessee (USA) for the rights to use their proprietary technology related to the production of maleated polypropylene (MAPP).

This agreement, conducted with the assistance of Mark Dollinger of Trendlines America, allows Polyram to use the statement "Made under patent licensed from Eastman Chemical Company" on specific MAPP products distributed in North America and selected European countries.  "Our relationship with Eastman Chemical represents an opportunity to extend our product offering within our successful Bondyram® line," states Ziv Herling, global manager for Bondyram®.

Bondyram is a family of modified polymers used as coupling agents, impact modifiers, compatibilizers, and adhesive resins.

"In today's competitive marketplace, our relationship with Eastman Chemical positions Polyram as one of the leading suppliers of MAPP in North America and Europe because we can produce and market Bondyram® according to Eastman's patented technology. This adds to our extensive range of products," explains Herling.
